HEADSHOTS OR PORTRAITS?
A Headshot is a tightly cropped photo of the face from the shoulders up, directing the subject to be camera aware to look right into the eye of the lens. During the headshot session I will guide you with one on one coaching on facial expressions, body positioning and angles of the face to capture your best features and provide quality images! You will have an unlimited choice of background colors to choose from that best compliment your style.
A Portrait is aimed toward capturing the personality of a person with different types of lighting styles, backdrops, and poses. Just like the headshot session, I will provide assistance with posing as needed, but you will have more liberty to add you own style and ideas into your posing. You will have an unlimited choice of background colors to choose from that best compliment your style. This session will also include your headshot image for your professional needs alongside your portraits of choice.

What to expect during the session!Upon your arrival, you will be temperature tested for safety and you will need to remove your shoes at the door and you will be given a hot towel to wipe your hands or the option to wash your hands in the restroom. Once all safety measures are completed you will be welcomed to the studio with complimentary water is desired before the session gets started. We will begin the review of your desired outfits and backdrop options and once settled on a look we will begin your session.

Purchasing your images
We will review your images in real time as they are taken and you will select your favorite shots. Once they are selected they will be sent off for retouching and delivered to you within 7-10 working days. In the event you need the images rushed there is a rush fee of $75 per image. The rush fee will guarantee the images in 1- 3 working days. All images are delivered digitally via your email provided at the booking.
What to wear?Women and Men should bring a variety of options including suit jackets, blazers, blouses, and button downs. If you wear glasses and have different frames please bring them along to have a variety of option and to check the glare.
Men: A variety of neck ties and collard shirts with plain color and minimalist prints is best. (No bowties and un-collard shirts) Women: Modest coverage top and blouses always make for a great headshot, bring a good selection to choose from. No chunky or large dangling earrings or necklaces (this takes the focus off of you). |
MakeUp V. No MakeUpMake Up is an absolute must for any photoshoot. It drives the photo from "meh" to "WOW" with the simplest of applications. Heavy make up is not ideal for a headshot, you want to stay as close to natural as you can while still looking polished and bright eyed.
If you don't think you need it, you need it! Even the best and clearest of skin will be elevated with the touch that make up gives on set under the lights and behind the lens! I do not recommend make up for mens headshots. MUA Fee: $250 Includes: Full MakeUp Look w/touchup for 1 HR after photoshoot begins. |
Women's Hair & Men's Grooming?Women: Hair should always be done in a way that compliments your best features and frames your face well.
Men: Hair should be groomed, brushed and/or combed to carve out your face structure and jaw lines. Beards are fine, a quality hair cut will boost your images to the next level. |
Scheduling & Payments
Once you have decided to book your session a 50% deposit is required to keep your session time. The remainder of the payment is due 24hrs before the shoot begins, failure to complete payment may result in the loss of your deposit. Due to COVID-19, if you become ill or are in contact with someone with COVID, I will happily rebook your session to another time that works. Rain checks, last minute cancellations, lateness or any other issues that arise within 24hrs of the shoot will result in the loss of the deposit. I accept all payments via Zelle or Paypal and refunds are handled on a case by case scenario. In the event a refund is needed it will be processed back the same way the payment was received.
